About May Day

May Day is the Annual celebratory event held in honour of workers. What began 160 years ago for recognition for an eight hour work day, eight hours work, eight hours recreation, eight hours rest. From there, Workers have achieved much much more.

So bring your banners, music instruments, passion and enthusiasm. We will be giving recognition to the Unionists who have passed and celebrating the future for Hunter Workers and workers everywhere.
